Future Directions
In 2009, the School Board launched the Future Directions strategy. Updated every 5 years, the document reaffirms our school’s mission and values and sets out our aspirations for our school’s future growth.
The Future Directions planning process commenced in October 2008. The Board’s intention was to identify, preserve and build on the many strengths of Central Coast Grammar School and to identify areas for improvement in response to educational developments on a global basis. Analysis of the survey data gathered served to provide the Board with a conceptual framework and enabled us to establish 7 key goals to guide our future planning:
- Maximised academic achievement
- Balanced enterprising individuals
- Demonstrated teaching excellence
- Nurtured student wellbeing
- Supportive and cohesive school community
- Improved environmental credentials
- Sustainable management practices
