Senior Curriculum | Central Coast Grammar School

Senior Curriculum

The wide choice of electives and HSC courses in our senior curriculum motivates Seniors to explore and extend. Lessons come to life with an exciting range of incursions and excursions that make learning exciting and relevant. Our international exchange program offers opportunities for cultural enrichment across the curriculum with visiting native speakers and opportunities to travel enhance language study.

We offer a broad curriculum in Years 7 and 8 giving all students a taste of the diverse options for further study.

In Years 9 and 10 an extensive range electives open up so students can explore their interests and find their strengths.

Our wide range of HSC electives for Years 11 and 12 include many extension options. Electives only run if there are sufficient students to make them viable and trends do change from year to year.

Prospective students considering entering CCGS in Year 11 should contact the Registrar, Sarah Barker, on + 61 2 4365 8404 to discuss individual subject requirements.
