An alumna of the school, graduating in 1994, Kirsty Watson brings over 25 years of educational experience to her leadership.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education in English and History from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
At Grammar, she provides strategic oversight of curriculum development with a strong focus on fostering innovation, elevating academic standards, and ensuring excellence in teaching and learning. Kirsty leads Heads of Department as they oversee learning within their teams, guiding effective curriculum design, assessment practices, and reporting processes to enhance student learning experiences and outcomes.
She also drives innovation across the 7–12 curriculum, expanding learning opportunities and ensuring programs remain responsive to contemporary research, data insights, and evolving student needs. Kirsty helps shape the suite of subject offerings, ensuring they reflect both educational best practice and student demand.
