Mission, Vision and Aims

Our School has been educating tomorrow’s thought leaders, creators and community achievers for over 40 years, and this legacy continues under the stewardship of our fourth Headmaster, Mr Phil O’Regan. 

From our Founding Charter, we set out to be a place of honest endeavour that would meet the individual needs of its students, and draw out their best efforts across the many fields in which their talents lay.  

That remains our mission today: striving for excellence in all endeavours in a happy, caring and supportive environment.

Our purpose is to provide an outstanding, rounded education that enables students to flourish academically, socially and personally.   

A breath of learning, co-curricular and leadership opportunities support students to develop the knowledge and good judgement needed to make a meaningful contribution to their communities and the wider world.  

We are a School of choice and opportunity, from which we foster graduates who go on to live lives of accomplishment, humanity, justice and agency.  

Through every experience, our students strengthen their intellectual, moral, civic and performance character, and build character strengths of critical thinking, creativity, communication, respect, integrity, gratitude, citizenship, collaboration, kindness, courage, resilience, and self-awareness.  

Ours is a community built on respect: for self, for others and for our School. We believe these values should be lived daily, and guide how we treat one another – with kindness, fairness and honour in all situations. 

They leave Central Coast Grammar School equipped with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to contribute meaningfully in their chosen fields and communities. Through an enterprising mindset, they are well prepared for success in a rapidly evolving future.
