Senior College
Years 10 to 12
Uniting challenge and reward, as young people grow into confident, capable graduates ready for the world beyond school.
YEARS 10 to 12
Welcome from the
Head of Senior College
Entering the senior years is an exciting step. For many of our students, it feels like the moment when everything they’ve learned begins to come together. It’s also a time when goals become clearer, challenges feel bigger, and the future starts to feel very real.
My message to every student and family is simple: you don’t walk this path alone. Our teachers and mentors are here to guide, encourage and support you through each stage, from choosing the right subjects to managing the demands of the HSC.
We celebrate effort as much as achievement. We help students build resilience, find balance and discover the confidence to aim high. By the time they leave us, they are not only ready for exams, but prepared for life beyond our gates and whatever it may bring them.
Janine Comber, Head of Senior College

REALISE THEIR POTENTIAL
Personalised
learning
Every student follows a personalised learning program tailored to their strengths, interests and aspirations.
This approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning, make purposeful choices and pursue goals that align with their ambitions.
A broad and challenging curriculum, including HSC subjects, extension courses and enrichment opportunities, allows students to explore their passions and deepen their knowledge. Individual pathways combine academic study with co-curricular, vocational and service experiences, ensuring learning is both rigorous and relevant.
Guidance and mentoring provide tailored support, helping students set ambitious goals, manage challenges and celebrate achievements. Through this personalised approach, Senior School students develop resilience, confidence and the skills to excel academically, lead with purpose and prepare for success beyond school.
EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Preparing for success
We set ambitious standards for effort and achievement. Our teachers combine expert knowledge with a deep understanding of how to support young adults through the final years of school.
Academic rigour is balanced with encouragement and care. Students develop strong study habits, critical thinking and resilience skills that serve them well in exams and prepare them for university, training and careers.

CURRICULUM
Shaping future leaders
We offer a wide range of HSC subjects and electives designed to motivate our students to explore, extend and excel.
Lessons come alive with visits, excursions and real-world applications that make learning engaging and meaningful.
For students studying languages, our international exchange programs offer rich cultural immersion. We invite native speakers to campus and give students the chance to travel overseas.
Year 10 brings a deeper level of choice, with electives tailored to individual interests and strengths. In Years 11 and 12, our subject offerings include a varied and flexible range of HSC courses, with extension options available for students ready to challenge themselves further.
Each student creates an academic program that aligns with their aspirations and abilities. This is supported by expert teachers who know how to balance ambition with genuine interest, ensuring our students are confident, capable and ready for what lies ahead.

DEVELOPING EMOTIONAL STRENGTH
Wellbeing in
Senior College
Our wellbeing programs, pastoral care and House system ensure every student feels supported, valued and connected.
Students belong to House Families, where mentoring, guidance and regular gatherings foster positive relationships and a sense of belonging. They develop resilience, empathy and the emotional skills to manage challenges, transitions and opportunities with confidence.
Leadership and service take on greater meaning in Senior School. Prefects, Portfolio Captains, SRC representatives and service leaders learn that true leadership is about integrity, empathy and contribution.
House Coordinators provide individual guidance, monitoring wellbeing and academic progress to support personal growth and success. Through service, mentoring and community engagement, students cultivate purpose, connection and agency, preparing them to thrive at school and beyond.
Shaping Future Success
Forging career pathways
Our Senior College careers program empowers students to explore possibilities, make informed choices and pursue pathways that align with their strengths and ambitions.
With guidance from House Coordinators, subject teachers and our Careers Advisor, students engage in personalised planning to choose subjects that open doors to diverse opportunities.
Students are encouraged to research, reflect and select pathways that balance their interests, workload and goals. Through workshops, expos, mentorship and online tools, students gain the knowledge and confidence to plan for university, vocational study or other post-school options.
Ongoing support includes career profiling, scholarship advice, application guidance and access to visiting speakers, seminars and industry insights. Students leave senior college equipped not only with strong academic foundations but also leadership, initiative and a global perspective, ready to take on the challenges and opportunities of their future careers.
