In recognition of her outstanding commitment to careers education and helping students to navigate their future pathways with confidence, curiosity and purpose, we are proud to announce that our School’s Careers Adviser, Ms Emma Henshaw, has been named a finalist for the Careers Advisers Association of NSW & ACT’s ‘Careers Adviser of the Year’ award.
Choosing subjects, considering tertiary study options and exploring vocational pathways can feel daunting for young people, but at Central Coast Grammar School, effective coaching from our expert Careers Adviser helps students to make sense of these important decisions.
Being named as an award finalist is a significant professional recognition for Ms Henshaw, and a reflection of the many ways in which she supports our students to understand their unique strengths and talents.
By offering ongoing support in the form of career profiling, scholarship advice, application guidance and access to workshops, expos and seminars, Ms Henshaw ensures our students are ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of them.
On behalf of our staff, students and wider School community, we congratulate Ms Henshaw on being named as a finalist for this prestigious award, and thank her for the mentorship, care and guidance she provides.
