A place for curious minds
Our Academic Scholarships are for students entering Years 5, 7 and 10 who demonstrate exceptional academic ability.
For these students, our School offers accelerated course patterns, advanced electives, research projects and specialised programs, as well as unique learning experiences.
In 2026, our School’s Year 7 team was named as the NSW da Vinci Decathlon State Champion, taking out the title from 157 high-performing teams from across the State in a multidisciplinary competition that challenges students across engineering, mathematics, code breaking, science, English, art and poetry, ideation, creative problem-solving, cartography and more.
For students who love to ask questions and tackle complex problems, these are the kinds of opportunities that turn ability into achievement.
In addition to academic extension, a scholarship to our School also means being surrounded by educators who are not only exceptional classroom practitioners, but recognised leaders in their profession.
Our expert teachers are regularly invited to present at workshops and conferences, publish educational resources and articles, and share their expertise with teachers across Australia and the world. Many of our teachers have served as HSC Chief Examiners, Judges and Markers, too, meaning they hold a deep understanding of curriculum expectations.
Year after year, our outstanding HSC outcomes are proof that hard work and expert guidance is a winning academic combination. In 2025, our School was again recognised for its HSC results, with 100% of students achieving the top two bands in English Extension 1, English Extension 2, Mathematics Extension 1, Mathematics Extension 2, Dance and Visual Arts.
Five our students were also recognised on the All-Round Achievers List, celebrating students who achieved a result in the highest band possible in 10 or more units of courses.
A place where musical talent can flourish
Our Music Scholarships are for students entering Years 7 and 10 who demonstrate musical skill, commitment and potential for growth, and provide a pathway to a learning environment where music is embedded throughout the educational experience.
Our Music Program is taught by specialist teachers, with students able to access instrumental programs, ensembles, private tuition and performance opportunities. O
ver 300 students currently undertake private music lessons each week, supported by more than 25 professional tutors, while senior students can study Music 1 or Music 2 for the HSC and participate in more than 15 co-curricular ensembles.
When it’s time to take the stage, our Scholarship students enjoy use of the School’s purpose-built Performing Arts Centre, which includes specialist music classrooms, tutorial rooms, a recording studio and a 750-seat auditorium with professional stage and sound facilities.
This breadth of opportunity matters for our talented young musicians: it ensures musical ability is not something to be pursued separately from their formal education, but instead, it forms an integral part of the school experience.

Our All-Rounder Scholarships are for students entering Years 7–11 and celebrate students who achieve strong academic results, while also pursuing their passion for sport, the performing arts, leadership, service or co-curricular pursuits.
