As Term 2 drew to a close, our Junior School students and teachers joyfully opened their classroom doors to celebrate their learning, share their many achievements, and reflect on another term of filled with growth, discovery and – most of all – fun!
Our Music Department warmly welcomed our Year 3 and Year 4 parents and carers in for a series of Open Classrooms, offering a glimpse into the magical musical experiences that take place in our Performing Arts Centre each week.
Families had the opportunity to observe activities in action, and see firsthand the growing confidence and creativity of our students as they engaged in music-making and performance.
Our Year 1 students also invited their parents and carers to join them for Little Citizens, Big World: a showcase of learning that highlighted how students have been exploring the continents of the world, and developing their understanding of the diverse places, cultures and environments that make it so unique.
While many of the end-of-term activities welcomed our loved ones into the School, another important celebration took place within the student community itself.
Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 enthusiastically participated in a Celebration of Maths, with mathematical challenges and engaging activities aimed at fostering both a love of learning and the strong belief that maths is lots of fun.
Thank you to our students and teachers for your work on these end-of-term celebrations – your efforts truly reflect the engaging, vibrant learning culture of our Junior School.
