Sport

Whether for fun, fitness or the thrill of competition, Sport plays a vital role in our school’s aim of providing a balanced education. We aim to provide a high standard of coaching, competition and sporting facilities for all students, regardless of ability.

In addition to PE lessons, right from Kindergarten students participate in age appropriate House, Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country carnivals – a wonderful opportunity to show school spirit and for older students to gain selection to compete at the next level.

After school sport starts in Kindergarten and representative interschool competition starts in Year 3. A wide range of sporting choices means most can find a sport they enjoy playing or want to take to the next level. For elite athletes there is a pathway to advance and excel at state and national level.

Training is before and after school and we compete in carnivals and Saturday interschool sport fixtures with a range of independent schools that share similar values and expectations.

International sport tours in the senior years extend the challenge and build cross cultural friendships through travel and billeting visiting sports teams.
